Thanks to all who dropped in last night for my Q+A. I got around to answering all the questions you posted here on Patreon and many more in the chat. At the end, we had some fun playing around with composing some video game style music.

One thing I want to point out if you watch the whole thing- you'll hear my mini rant on the circle of fifths. I want to clarify that knowing your fifths(and fourths) is EXTREMELY important, but I don't find studying the circle that helpful. Instead, use your instrument- visualize what a fifth looks like on your guitar or piano, and use that knowledge to help build the circle of fifths as opposed to just reciting the circle.

If you have any further questions, let me know! This Wednesday at 6PM CST I plan on doing another live stream but this time it will be a demonstration of how to make a backing track without even recording an instrument- a topic requested by a Patreon member.

It'll be lots of piano-roll clicking and arrangement and theory but should be illuminating if you're interested in making your own tracks.
