THE DEBUT EPISODE of the Signals Music Podcast

I'm very excited to share with you all episode 1 of the Signals Music Podcast. My maiden voyage into podcasting is assisted by Mike Muggli. He's a choir director and music teacher with a background in sound engineering and synthesizer geekdom. You can hear his music here

https://soundcloud.com/moog-lee

And his YouTube channel here

https://www.youtube.com/user/Midiman741

In all of the Signals episodes, I'll be interviewing musicians with my guitar in hand. My guests will also be armed with their instruments. Mike is a synth player by default, so he brought his new Moog synth and demonstrated some tone-crafting.

In this episode, we discussed inspiration, tone, timbre, and did an improv jam in G minor at the end.

These podcasts are not scripted and are UNCENSORED. This means they will not be as family-friendly as my videos. For example, this episode does briefly veer off course into an impromptu, vulgar cover of an REM song.

My Patreon supporters will have access to these podcasts right after they're done being recorded, and they MAY go public months after you hear them first. I sincerely hope you learn something and are at least entertained.

Thanks to you all for inspiring me to do this!

-Jake

Really late to the party, but great episode, and encouraging to hear that I'm not the only one whose songwriting inspiration seems to mainly consist of silly ideas
