The Demonwing: Foresection, The Glass Room

This towering, multi-level chamber in the Demonwing is pure chaos—a mix of fire, monsters, and deadly traps designed to make any fight a nightmare. Personally, I've led the adventure down the path of finding Baphomet making his way to the gates of Malsheem by using the Demonwing as a traveling level of the Abyss itself.

🔥 Pillars of Flame: Six burning columns stretch from floor to ceiling, dealing 2d6 fire damage to anyone who touches them. The heat alone makes movement risky.

💀 Summoning Traps: Stepping between the pillars or using certain staircases triggers powerful monsters—a thesselhydra, behir, gorgimera, and a two-headed troll—each appearing at the worst possible moment. And they can set off more traps, turning the fight into a chain reaction of chaos.

🔮 A Glass Deathtrap: The room’s platforms are made of enchanted glassteel—completely transparent but solid. It’s easy to misjudge the edges in the heat of battle.

🚪 Gate to Demogorgon: A small room on the lowest level holds a portal to the Temple of Demogorgon, but opening it unleashes yet another horror.
