Status report
Added 2015-05-07 07:07:25 +0000 UTCStatus report: Got the bugs worked out with 3d studio and got cracking on the preliminary GunBunny in-game model. Things will be slow this week as I am going to Elliott's Spring Gathering this weekend and it will knock me out of the internet art world for a few days. The script is filling out nicely. I have also planned out how the levels will go together. I will build tile sets just like a sprite platformer, only using 3d components, and use these to build the levels. I've got the demo cutscene planned out in my head as well as the demo playable level. The music has been picked out and is totally killer awesome (a dubstep remix by Two Steps from Hell). Other music tracks fall into place as I listen to piles of stuff and build a playlist. Also found a cool musician with whom I may be able to compose a good deal of music. I need an army of clones! Auditions for voice actors continue to come in; I already have two promising voices for GunBunny and Reese.

2015-11-18 14:30:51 +0000 UTCI'm going with Unreal, actually. Much easier to use than Unity, after playing with them both. It offers linux builds. I'm making it all on a mac environment so in theory a linux build should not be a problem.
