Chapter 3 polls results

It's time to check the results of the polls and try to interpret them.

Manly vs Sensitive choices:

I’m very pleased to see the same trend from the first 2 chapters to continue: there was an even distribution between manly and sensitive regarding Jen’s path, each containing 38% of players. This makes me think that players from both sides are happy playing the game.

Most comments I got about Jen scene were positive, coming from both manly and sensitive players. Although, there was some disappointment shown from at least one sub player, saying that the scene was a bit of a letdown. I can understand that, and I think having to wait 3 months for the next update only makes things worse. I think it won’t feel as bad when you can play the whole game continuously. All I can just say is that Rome wasn’t built in a day. Jen will also have a sensitive path that I hope is good and will make the waiting worth it.

So far, the only time when this wasn’t true was with Kim’s scene: from those that went into her path, only 27% preferred the manly choice and 73% went with the sensitive path. I'll talk more about this below.

Honorable vs cunning choices:

This dichotomy, once again, is much different than the one before. So far, in all of the major honorable/cunning choices made in the game, one of them always wins by far. Lea choices tend to have more honorable players: from those who did the body writing, only 35% went with the cunning choice, where 65% went with the sweet one. On the other hand, Jen had 77% of players falling in temptation, and only 23% remaining honorable. Kim had 64% of players opting for the cunning choice.

I’m not sure what to make out of this. But, so far, it seems okay that both paths have content that is chosen by some players, which seems good.

Kim:

Looking at the answers regarding Kim, 2 things seem clear: 1) the cheating on Pete path doesn’t seem to be very popular so far (as stated above); 2) a majority of players (69%) that rejected her are still open to have a path with here later on, if some circumstances change. Namely, manly/honorable players want to teach her a lesson; sensitive/honorable players don’t want to have to be a jerk to Pete.

Chapter 4 is already planned and being done, but I’ll take this feedback into account for future chapters. Namely: players that rejected her should have other opportunities to still go into her paths; this probably will happen once/if her relationship with Pete falls apart, which is better to happen sooner rather than latter.

Favorite girls:

Your favorite girls at the moment didn’t change much from last time. Deb and Emma traded places at the front, Kim, Lea and Jen remain a bit behind and Olivia and Bri at the back. I’m happy that Kim retains her popularity even after her somewhat controversial paths were introduced. 

I’m also curious to see if, once they have lewd scenes, Bri and Olivia will join the others. I thought it would be interesting to have a mix of possible relationship stages at a given time in the game: for example, in a couple chapters, you might have the option to get more serious in a relationship with one girl of the established girls, or rather prefer to start exploring new paths/kinks with Bri/Olivia that are only then beginning to get sexual with the main character. I think both stages can have interesting and fun scenes/events and this plan let both of them be present in later chapters of the game. As opposed to having all girls starting their paths at the same time at the beginning of the game.

The reverse side of this is that, by then, players might already be invested in some girl and really not want to experiment with Bri or Olivia anymore, making their paths stay forever unpopular. I’m curious to see what will happen.

Extra mini Q&A:

Skills like degradation and humiliation: are those for the MC humiliating the girl, or vice versa, or both?

Both. Most skills can work both ways like humiliation, bondage, free use, sharing, painplay, etc. 

Lea gave a hint of some other kink... Were you referring to the conversation with Olivia where she feels a bit jealous?

No, it was about her scene for sensitive players where the mc confesses that he is in a no orgasm challenge, which triggers some curiosity in her about that. The jealously bit with Olivia was more to show that Lea is starting to gain feelings for the mc.

About Emma, are things going to stabilize soon or will their relationship progress within some kind of tension?

A bit of both? They will be on friendly terms from now on, but there will still be lots of tension coming from the fact that neither of them is good at communicating/understanding/admitting their feelings for each other.

Lea might have some sort of a dom/teasing path in the future. But if you don't have dom points for "bodywriting", you're locking yourself from her path?

No, that path will still be available even if you missed that scene on chapter 3. However, it might start a bit later (it will need a different trigger that didn’t happen yet) and possible miss an event or so. However, it is explained in the skills-help section that most girls might require points from all personality traits to get a few vanilla skills. You should get some manly points in a submissive playthrough to see all femdom content. I talk a lot more about why I chose to do it that way here.
