GGO2 v3.1 patch notes 6/11/2024

Growth no longer doubled for Joh. All other affinity bonuses apply.
(Automatic double growth is getting a little out of hand. Everyone else will still be doubled until they get a little closer to Joh in height. Likely when they go past 230m, which is Joh’s height at the end of round 2.)
Highest stat for every girl before donations gets double growth for that stat plus 2 affinity levels. If the highest stat before counting donations is still highest after adding donation cm this bonus will be applied to the second highest stat.
(People willing to donate large amounts were trivializing the votes of people unable to donate larger amounts, or at all. This had the effect of discouraging the latter group. This hopefully will help everyone feel like they’re still influencing the results and help make things more fun for everyone.)
Bonus Affinity levels will be added to all stats based on where that girl places for that week. The bonuses will be applied in the following manner, and the affinity bonus will be applied to the results of round 2 going forward:
2nd: +1 levels
3rd: +2 levels
4th: +3 levels
5th: +4 levels
(The gap between positions have been getting fairly extreme. I'm afraid that this might discourage people from voting for their favorite if she’s too far behind. By adding this “rubber banding” effect we should hopefully be able close the more extreme gaps.)
Edit: Starting round 3, favoriting, and commenting on a girls status sheet will add one vote for that girl and +10 for the favorite, +5 cm for following me, and if you ask a question for them you get another +25 cm. This applies to every site the image is posted on. (Legitimate questions only, please. Repeating the same question on every post won't count, and will likely invalidate the 25cm.)
All of these new rules will be closely monitored and if any of them start making things stupid I’ll try and adjust things again. We still have a long way to go and I’m sure I won’t be able to predict every development.
Let me know what you guys think. The second adjustment is the one I’d like to hear feedback on the most, as discouraging people who can’t donate from participating is the last thing I want. Also feel free to suggest anything you think might help make the Grow Off more fair or fun. Most of these rules were born of suggestions from participants just like you!

Maybe though I usually try not to spread the votes out too much either but we'll see, I like the options for sure, looking forward to it and all the growing girls!

That should be fine then and then cut it out for everyone after getting closer sounds good too. Is the second adjustment the "highest stat before donations"? That seems okay to me. Though is that like if Erika's boob stat is the highest from free votes then it is double growth extra and 2 affinity up but if it stays highest after donation then that goes to her butt if it is 2nd? That might be interesting to help distribute stats and growth a bit (she is a bit top heavy haha). I think third bullet point, the bonus affinity, is good (that I think is the result of what was discussed in last post). The last bullet point seems like a nice interesting addition especially for free voters too with the comment and favorite. Though don't know what the asking a question for them means if I am being honest, like one directed toward them or something like a roleplaying kinda thing? Like " So Joh, how does it feel having feet able to crush towns and now be the one putting Bel in your cleavage?"
