TM-Modding cars list

This is a list of car mods the Trained Monkey Modding team (TMM) released from 2017 to 2023. We might not have a ton of cars, but TMM has always been about quality over quantity. All these mods were basically team projects, even though our core team was just two people for most of the time. Luckily, we got to work with the best external contributors in the modding scene, and it really showed in the final product.

The whole idea was to make mods specifically for community racing, and I think we totally nailed it! Most TMM mods are very popular in community racing scenes all over the world. Getting featured at Low Fuel Motorsport? That's the ultimate bragging right, and the team and everybody who contributed to it can be very proud!

Every project has its unique story behind it, every project was special in a way, I could write walls of text for each of them, but for now I will be rather brief :)

Skoda 130 RS (1.9)

My the most favorite AC project. Most downloads on RD out of TMM mods, very popular amongst the veteran drivers, especially in the Central Europe region. Even though the model is rather low poly, the sounds from ACFan and solid physics makes it very fun to drive around some shorter historic tracks. H-shifter is a must for this one!

Cupra Leon Competición 2022 (2.1)

Technically most advanced TMM mod, created with cooperation with real drivers and engineers, with high quality sounds and physics which uses some extended physics features to suport wet racing. Very popular, even real drivers use this one for training. If you are into modern tin tops, definitely get this one.

Skoda Octavia Cup 2018 (2.2)

First mod released by TM-Modding team. Received quite well by the reviewers and simracers. Aged quite well over the time, had some major updates, quite popular in community racing. Nice entry racing car for beginners with nice force feedback and sometimes lively rear. I learned a lot working on this car.

Skoda Octavia Cup 2008 (1.2)

This car was special. It's rFactor 1 version was very popular back in the days, we wanted to make the conversion to pay tribute to this legend and to honor it's creators, and I believe we succeeded. The model was improved and some details were added, with decent physics and again high quality sounds, it provides very raw and close racing. And it has very advanced dashboard which nobody uses :)

Trabant P 601 RS (1.1)

Suprise mod which was created rather fast, but in high quality and made happy a lot of German people. It has everything what a racing "vacuum cleaner" should have. Specific sound, smoke and nice handling. It is basically bigger go-kart, good for beginners and veteran enthusiasts. It will surprise you when you drive it.

Tatra 603-2 B5 Maraton

As 130RS was passion project of mine, this one was passion project of my team mate Weron. This one is indeed very special. Unique in every way. Can you imagine endurance race which took more than 3 days? So this car took part in it. Just check it from the rear, you will find 2 big cannons there, which will destroy you with the noise. They were really there, we didn't made it up :D Ideal car for racing historic Nordschleife and longer tracks. V8 power!
