Mery Christmas and happy New Year 2025!

Hi guys. Firstly, I sincerely wish all of you happy Holidays and happy new Year 2025! Let's hope it will be at least as good as this one or even much much better :) Now at the end of the year, I would like to say big THANKS for all you guys who came here and especially for my paying supporters. To be honest, I did not expect that so many people will come here and I know that it is mostly because of the Reboot track list but still, THANK YOU GUYS! I really appreciate all the support, it keeps me excited and motivated to to more modding, even though Assetto Corsa is slowly loosing pace in the sim world...

This year was quite crazy for me, a lot of stuff happened in my life, had to move from abroad back to Slovakia, started a new job, had to take a lot of courses and exams, so I was not as active as I thought I will be. But still, this year I managed to do some interesting releases and updates.

I was quite happy that I had the opportunity to add some new cars to my TCR collection, I released updated Clio Cup car which is doing very well at LFM and I updated my Slovakia Ring to 2024 specs. I am especially happy with the Cupra/Audi audio update. The sounds are next level and I am very happy that Fabricio (CorsaMode) agreed to do it. I hope we will be able to do Elantra the same way, recorder is ready, we just need to wait for the season. Fabricio if you are reading this, you are the best!

There is always demand for more TCRs, but in the end, I figured out they are not as popular as GT cars, so I won't push it. If the opportunity occurs (like it did with Elantra and Audi), I would like to do Honda, we will see. My friends from Expres Auto Racing want to buy Cupra VZ, so maybe I will look into this one once again and will bring that ugly thing to virtual tracks, who knows, no promises for now as always :D

Except these major releases, I have been working closely with LFM crew recently and helped them to fix or update some tracks which they wanted to use at their service but the original authors abandoned them with some issues which needed attention. Working with LFM guys is for me personally a privilege and I really enjoy working with them, because they are very nice people and they want to bring the best experience to AC crowd.

Couple of weeks ago I was asking, what I should do next and the Oschersleben track won the poll, but there was no news about this track since then. So now I can tell that I am working on the track. But not on the version from ACCakut, I was contacted by another modder Heikki, a guy who does mods for rfactor 2 and he showed me his project of Oschersleben track. It was made by photogrammetry scanning with a drone and when I compared his version to other laser scanned versions from iRacing and RRE I knew this is the version I want to focus on. For now I don't have any screenshots from AC version, but I can share some from rf2. If you are interested more info here...

Heikki did very good job but he is still not finished with his version, so I am waiting for him, then I will finish my version of the track and release it. My guess is end of January 2025, or even faster. I already have some working version but it is far from publishing. When I will have some preview build, I will post it here.

For now, It is hard to tell what my next project will be, I will see what the new year will bring. I hope I will have more time to do my hobby, I already finished my courses and got my promotion at work, so now everything should calm down a little. The other thing is that I am not in a hurry because I am waiting when ACE will be released. If the platform will be modable one day, I want to be ready and do my new projects with EVO in mind. I hope they will release some guidelines for modders soon.

To sum it up, last year was quite busy, but next year should be better in terms of my free time. And we have a lot of new sims on the horizon so we will see what they will bring to the table. See you on the tracks somewhere guys.

Oh and one more thing, today is Christmas day in Slovakia, so maybe at least one small gift for You guys...

The updated version of Showtime track, used for Race of Champions kind of races. We did the RoC race in our community last week, so I prepared the track for this event. The original version  was quite obsolete and when I tried to contact the original author I found out he is not active anymore at Overtake so I considered this one as an abandonware and did my own modifications to it, to make it slightly better looking. There are PSD templates for sponsors included, so you can rebrand the track pretty easily. The track has two layouts, one (race) has 2+2 slots for opponents, and 6 service slots for streamers and race control. Quali layout has 12 slots and is made as a whole lap with sectors, you can use it for pre-qualification. Feel free to use it for your own RoC events, but don't forget to mention original authors, they did very good job back then.

Mery Christmas and happy New Year 2025!

Thanks for all the work and effort you put into your mods. Especially I have to thank you for your TCRs. They are my favorite series in LFM. Merry Christmas 🎄
