So just heads up. This is a Kiira story that takes place 3 years before issue 01. This is a pre-transition Kiira. So "he" pronouns do get used. However her deadname is edited out and replaced with Kiira. I have personal reasons for doing a pre-transition era kiira. Mostly just to show the messy, edgy, and angry reality of figuring yourself out in relative isolation (hence... deep farmland). It's a personal story but also... it has a happy ending.
