Weclome to the Pleistocene Park team!
Added 2020-02-17 14:46:55 +0000 UTCDear Friends!
First of all want to thank you all for joining our efforts in reviving Arctic, and mitigating climate change.
Six days after the start of the campaign there is more than 70 of us and our total raised funds raised exceed 1000 USD/month. It is a good start and we hope that with time our community will grow and we will be able to accelerate development of the Pleistocene Park.
Please make sure that you invite your friends, collegues and relatives to join the campaign. Noone can advocate for our project better than people who already help us!
We in turn will be developing the new features for our supporters and will keep you informed on our progress.
And here is an unpublished photo of our bison waiting for us to get them more friends:)

That is a great question. But I think these days it is not the smartest move for a Russian person to publicly comment on US elections:) I don't want to be blamed for Trump reelection:)

2020-03-03 02:07:48 +0000 UTCWhy can’t a billionaire back you instead of a vanity presidential campaign that is doomed to fail?

2020-02-23 02:58:26 +0000 UTCDear Raniero we are developing the system of "level" the more and the longer you support our project the higher you get promoted. New levels open you access to some features, like free t-shirts etc.

2020-02-23 01:47:14 +0000 UTCHello! I'm glad to be a supporter of this project! I also read that in 12 months I'll get promoted to Voyager of Steppes - what does that mean? What is gonna happen, actually, after 12 months?

2020-02-22 21:44:42 +0000 UTCDear Martin. Yes, wisent is not very adequately behaved. I suspect because of many years of lonelyness. He may hang out with other animals for a few days and then one day, just attack somebody. We keep him separated from other animals now. We do not have contact of those national Parks. I think if wisent would be part of a wisent herd his behavior would be different

2020-02-21 08:11:55 +0000 UTCHello Nikita, you have mentioned that the Vicent bull is quite aggressive towards other animals. Have he killed or injured any other animals and how does he get along with the bulls of the other bovine species? Have you had any contact with other bison reintroduction projects in similar environments to share experiences? Banff national Park and the Alaskan wood bison projekt are two that perhaps could be interesting to you?

2020-02-17 21:57:10 +0000 UTCFound out about this project while doing some personal research on the permafrost and I'm glad I can follow your work more closely and support you even if its just a bit! I'll spread the word about this project to others who might be interested. Best of luck in the future!
