Hey The Filmcast crew. I was browsing the Netflix 4K options the other day and was disappointed that still, nearly all movies they offer in 4K are almost all only Netflix-produced films. While still browsing, I found the 2012 'Total Recall' remake and it's offered in 4K. I was pleasantly surprised (not a good movie), but I couldn't find many other non-Netflix options in 4K. Do you all have any insight about how studios control the ability of streamers to broadcast films on platforms (other than their own) in 4K when they license them for streaming? If they license a film for streaming, do you think there are cases where the streamers just choose to only share the 1080p version instead of 4K to save on bitrate/bandwidth, or is it more likely part of the licensing deals, possibly to encourage consumers to buy 4K physical media? I still prefer physical 4K discs for films I love, but since I'm paying for the 4K high bandwidth Netflix package, it would be nice to have a few more 4K streaming options for times when you're in a room without a 4K blu-ray player hooked up. Hope this works for a mailbag episode. Thanks for your work, conversations, and fun and genuine rapport.

Who has had the better career since Ocean's Eleven? Matt Damon, Brad Pitt or George Clooney? And who's filmography would you choose to keep? Pitt and Clooney both have 2 Oscars for producing and acting. Damon has the one for writing from the 90's.
