For 8 generations the Lambton line was cursed and the eight eldest sons all trained for WYRM-warfare only to meet horrible ends. But the final son did not go so quietly.
His soul is locked in a melted armor of enchanted metal fused onto his charred skeleton. Serpentine dragons are specifically weak to the jagged form.
