Well that Seen organization is in our world named Cern. With C instead of S. And it exist more like a corporation. Also the computer IBN is in our real world IBM. The good old computer manufacturers. They used to make the old type of box monitors and PCs. They upgraded with time and now they produce normal computers. Usually you see computers branded IBM used by firms and companies across America. We have a few of them in Romania too.

I personally don't see anything wrong with the introduction of his character, nor "trap culture" to be completely honest. Ruka is also done in a pretty tasteful way as a character, so I'd say it's fine.

I don't know how to feel about Ruka's introduction, it's innocent on its own but definitively helped spawn the "trap" culture that plagues anime fandom to this day (if you don't know what that is don't even look it up). Steins Gate isn't about trans rights, I get that, but it's still a cheap shot. Ah, well, there isn't really much more to it till much later on so I'll comment more later I guess. I liked the episode overall though, some people say the first few episodes of SG are slow, but I just see it as introducing and building up characters, there's still enogh sciency bits in it to keep that side of the show running so it's not hard to pay attention honestly. Definitivelz not the meat of the show we'll get to that later, but still entertaining.

Loved the reaction! John Titor was a real person that appeared on the internet claiming to be from 2036 just like it was told in the anime haha The scene that Makise Kurisu and Okabe have an argument is actually shown with much more detail in the Visual Novel, it's mostly explaining a lot of famous time traveling theories, but it has so much talking that I'm glad they cut it out in the adaptation. I suggest that after you're done watching the anime you look for this scene on youtube, or play the game yourself, as a person that likes time traveling, the theories which they explain are so much fun to read!
