February Update

I am very sorry to announce that there won't be a video for February.
Now I know that I just took November off to make the Cats video, but unfortunately I can't say the same is happening now.

About a week ago (actually, closer to Valentine's Day) a cold front swept through Colorado and burst a pipe in my upstairs neighbor's ceiling.
If that wasn't bad enough, he'd been away for several days, which meant that a bunch of people had to have multiple games of phone tag with each other to eventually both shut off the water, and enter his unit.
What that meant for us, was about 4 hours of water pouring through our ceiling, covering about 40% of our living space in water.

For the last week and a bit, we've had multiple (I think the maximum was 11) industrial fans, along with 2 MASSIVE (like half the size of a refrigerator) dehumidifiers trying to get everything dry and avoid having to demo most of where we live.
We lost access to our bathroom, closets, and most of where we sleep, and had to stay in a hotel for a few days, and by the time we came back, I literally couldn't hear anything through my headphones the drying units were so loud, and I spent most of my days wearing ear protection.

What that all means for you guys, is that even though we've (hopefully) made it through the worst and the fans are now gone (we still have to have the reconstruction guys come by and even take a look at how bad it's going to be), I am only just now able to actually come back to working on my computer.

And to be completely honest, I could try to rush out a video for you in the next week or so, but I just don't feel that it would be respectful of your generosity to throw you all some flaccid, rushed video.

So, unfortunately, that means that there's no video for the month.
Naturally, you won't be charged, I only charge you by the video, not by the month, so there won't be any charges going off.

And I want to clarify, Sarah and I are fine, we're warm, we have food, there are no holes in our drywall, we're ok.
Thankfully the water spread slowly enough and in such a way where we were able to move all of our belongings out of the way before they were seriously damaged.

I did, however, tragically lose a box of pancake mix.

But like really, if you want to send some support to anyone, send it to Texas, as someone who just had to deal with water pouring out of their walls, let me tell you, they REALLY need some help right now.

Hopefully things can all get back to normal for March.

But in the meantime, like always

Thank you for your continued support

I literally could not do this without you

As someone who has had to deal with flooding and industrial fans for weeks on end, I share your pain. I'm glad to see you got through it though, and best of luck on the next video.

Dang. Hope things improve quickly. Look after yourselves. We're not gonna bang on your counter, this isn't a Denny's... (Not that anyone should do that in a Denny's)
