The Problem With Auto-Tune

I'm sorry to say that I have some unfortunate and awkward news.

After posting the early access version of this video, I realized that there is a substantial portion of it that could be misleading.
I pride myself on being as accurate as I can possibly be in my videos.  I always reserve the right to be wrong, to pretend otherwise would be to deny my humanity.
But I take pride in my work, and I simply cannot release a video that I know might confuse, or worse yet mislead a large number of people.

After spending many hours trying to clarify this point, it has become apparent that I'm going to have to put in a lot more work to fix it than putting in a few asterisks here or there.
Thankfully the video is not completely unsalvageable, however I won't be able to have the video available to the public for at least another day, two at the most (hopefully I didn't just jinx myself, we all know how much my channel loves jinxes).

So, in the name of consistency, and in leu of a public release of this specific cut of the video, I'm going to give all patrons access to this video as of right now and have this post be the pledge for September.
If you haven't seen it already, I hope you give it a once over, because I am fairly certain that this version of the video will contain information that won't make it into the final cut that will go to the public.

I hope that you all enjoy this special Patreon exclusive cut of the Auto-Tune video, and I just want to thank you all for your patience with me.  As I'm sure you all know this is not a common occurrence for me, ironically, the copyright bot hasn't given me much trouble with this video (yet).

If at any point this video is blocked or otherwise made to where you no longer have access, please send me a dm or comment below and I'll make sure to get you a version of this video that you can see.

Again, thank you all for your patience, if only they made pitch correction for YouTube videos.

And in times like this, I want you all to know that you are the ones keeping this channel afloat.

Thank you all for your continued support.

I literally could not do this without you.

I love this video, and after seeing the version posted to YouTube I can say I definitely want a separate video on vocal performance and gender roles.

Just watched the "fixed" version on YouTube. I liked both, but the what you ended up with was actually better. The points you were trying to make were a lot clearer. Glad you took the time to change those few things.
