I think Noel is in a bit of a bubble when it comes to what audiences want in regards to his Euphoria video, I don't think many people really want to watch a second video on a show they've never seen that's almost 20 minutes long, I haven't heard of a single person in my life watching it, never mind people who have actually heard of it. I get that Euphoria seems super popping online but I dunno is that just down to a loud fanbase or if it's a very American centric thing because this is the only place I hear about it. Besides that it could not be further off the radar for me. I know I probably sound like every other “non creator” that knows what you “next move” should be. BUT I’m on tik tok a lot and one of the things I notice on there alot is completely ripped content and it performs SUPER well. Like entire movies posted in 128 parts or in lesser cases entire YouTube videos posted in like 10 parts. And one of the 10 tik toks goes viral and the one viral tik tok pulls views to the account because people want to watch the rest of the parts for context. And I also find myself going straight from a clip on tik tok to the YouTube video that it’s referencing. So with those two things in mind I would either post full episodes in clips straight to tik tok or I would post multiple clips from one YouTube video and upload those to tik tok with a link to the original vid. I see people doing that a lot and it seems to work. Kind of like you are gaming the system on two different algorithms. Tik tok has lots of reach and can create immediate interest. And you don’t have a choice to click a thumbnail tik tok just shows it to you. So if you upload clips on tik tok it’s kind of like a long form thumbnail that catches peoples interest and makes them want to watch the whole video on YouTube. It works on me all the time 😂😂. Def not a solution for you guys or anything but maybe food for thought.
