Genuinely could not agree more with Noel's commentary on Don't Look Up. I loved the movie as someone who is disillusioned with politics and devastated about the climate crisis, but it was also cheap in a lot of ways. The Trump character was too strong of an analogy, the social media graphics made me cringe, and some scenes could have been shot in a way more sophisticated way. I think it's a really important movie and I'm glad people are talking about it (because I really think the U.S. would do anything for profit) but it's so clear they ran out of money.
