While I do appreciate listening to you guys talk about NFT’s and crypto (otherwise I would literally know nothing about it lmao) I do think it is rather short-sighted to truly believe that in the future, no one will go to in person entertainment and everything will be online or in the multiverse or whatever. I find it’s a similar argument I’ve heard some crypto obsessed people make, where they say in the future all transactions will be made through crypto, and cash money will cease to exist or have value. I think it’s easy for y’all to believe this as most of your circle is a part of this lifestyle, in terms of buying into crypto and NFT’s and Meta, etc. But as someone who considers themselves to be working class, most of my friends and peers are working class, and I organize in my community of mainly working class ppl, NFT’s and crypto might as well not exist to most people. And I honestly do believe that they are a trend, as they’re something that are so unattainable for majority of the population, and it will continue to be rich people trying to out-rich each other until it collapses into itself, or the government finally decides to regulate it. I also think that the argument that there will be no more in person entertainment in the future was disproven very heavily when things started opening back up again after quarantines were ended. People flocked to movie theaters, live theater, live comedy, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs because they missed live, in person entertainment after being in the house for the past year. People want to be around other people and experience live spectacles, be social, etc. While I don’t doubt that Meta will continue to grow, and there will be a small minority of people who do choose to experience most of their entertainment in the metaverse vs in person, I think majority of the rest of humanity will continue to go to live/in person shows. Sorry this turned into a super long tangent but love you both, just wanted to offer a counter opinion to what you were talking about <3

Korean swear words unfortunately don't translate well into English. There are multiple ways of saying "fuck you" or "fuck off" in Korean, but we only have the one way. 꺼져 (ggo jyeo)- "get out" 엿 먹어 (yeot meogo)- "eat yeot" (yeot is a Korean taffy that apparently resembles a dick) 씨발! (shi pal) - I think this is the more literal translation of "fuck" 뒤져라 "go away/ go die" 빌어먹을 (beel oh meok eul)- "beg and eat" There are more that basically mean "fuck you" or "fuck off" colloquially, but they unfortunately won't translate as well or have the same meaning to non-Korean speakers. At the same time, when phrases are translated too literally they can also lose its meaning to non-Korean speakers. E.g one phrase (Idk how to spell it in Korean, but he says it here https://youtu.be/4lLkEH98zAM?t=3015) translates to "who are you" but it's meant in a more aggressive way, rather than wanting to get to know someone ("who the fuck are you?!").. They can get inventive with their swearing. I wish I remembered how to say it, but the phrase basically translates to "you hanging piece of dog shit". (i.e dog dingleberries). I don't know if it's a common phrase, but the guy's mom (in the link) would say that a lot.

I recommend watching Lady Vengeance/Sympathy for Lady Vengenace. It's dark and has some disturbing scenes (it kind of fucked me up the first time I watched it) but it's one of my favorite films. It's by a different director (he directed Old Boy, The Handmaiden, and produced Snowpiercer if anyone is familiar with those). Choi Min-sik, who played the serial killer in I Saw the Devil also plays the main antagonist this film, but I think the deaths were more disturbing mostly based on who his victims were rather than the method. I Saw the Devil was fun, but I prefer this film.
