As a musician all this recycling of older songs is really frustrating. It's disrespectful to the real artists trying to make new and interesting music. Meanwhile some kid can get major label backing and basically plagiarize a Paramore song and then negotiate writing credits after the song gets popular. there's really nothing Paramore can do other than accept the credits because the song is already out and the fans are going to listen either way. Even worse is the Lil Huddy shit where the artist is complicit. It's the same problem that movies are having now, just recycling old concepts because it's a proven success so it's a "safer" investment. It just pushes true creatives into the dirt and out of the mainstream.

The problem with landlords is the problem with capitalism: the only thing the landlord has “contributed” to the world is an initial investment of capital. That means the only way they make money is by overpricing tenants and underpaying actual labor. If the people who built the house with their own sweat and the people who repaired the house with their own sweat were fairly compensated, there by definition would not be surplus $$ for the landlord to make. You can read Capital volume 1 for all the math. This is why people call landlords parasites.

It's an epidemic that affects our nation regardless of age or financial status and it doesn't get nearly enough attention. Cody if you or anyone is nervous about HVAC mold don't waste money and home security on window units, there is a device called iWave-R by Nu Calgon that my company installs all the time in residential homes, it's pretty DIY and only costs around $500 I believe. It never requires maintenance and will eliminate basically anything including mold in the entire home by sitting in the return so eventually all air inevitably passes over it. Also UV sterilization is not as good as the iWave, they are different technologies, and UV bulbs need replacing, iWave is maintenance free.
