Cody's urgent care story reminded me of a time I went in for a chest xray because I had suspected pneumonia. Turned out it was just bad bronchitis (pre-covid times). After making me wait forever in urgent care, they called in a prescription to a nearby pharmacy. I'm at the pharmacy and they say it'll be 15 minutes, 20 minutes later I check and they said it'll be another 15 minutes... another 20 minutes later I ask again and they say they'll get right on it... 15 minutes later I go and ask and it turns out it was done the entire time and just put in the wrong place. At this point it's 9pm and I'm exhausted. I literally burst into tears. Seriously why do we pay so much for medical care if it's so bad?!

I broke my toe three weeks ago and my doctor said to buddy tape it to the toes next to it so the break doesn’t get worse and it can heal on its own. Definitely buy some coban tape from cvs and wrap your toe for a few weeks or it could be permanently messed up. I’ve been doing it everyday now and it’s not inhibiting to doing activities at all. If you want to keep surfing maybe add some stickier tape on top so it doesn’t fall off. Also nows your chance to go to an amusement park and skip all the lines with a disability pass. Feel better!
