I think it would've been toight if they paid homage to BBD with Poison, especially after his references at the end of Baxter Avenue! Oh and Vince Staples should get on State Fair! An I was so blue balled when Snoop came in on that absolutely f*ckin nasty beat change with his stank and then the song ends with him asking if he enough after he already confessed he the man 😂😭 I am talking to the void because nobody around me talks about music and Luke's comment above inspired me lmao. Harlow feels a lot like Logic in this frustration. I think both showed a lot of promise, and then when they got big big big off white audiences, they started heading in seemingly disingenuous directions. Harlow trying to become Drake and Logic trying to become like Kendrick. And I think Logic in a lot of ways has defenders cuz his journey has consisted of chasing maybe the goat and Harlow gets (more) hate cuz he's tryna copy like corporatized ass, mass appeal ass Drake. Even who he's failing to copy is losing credit in hip hop circles. Imo, I think Harlow (and drake) are kinda on their woman shit. And imho, saying that's "lower brow" rap is kinda sexist. I get both their appeals
