As a Doordasher, yes we get all of the tip but I’m not entirely sure if they don’t lower the pay from Doordash if the tip is higher. I personally don’t care if I’m thanked or not, but if I have to leave it on the front porch of a house I take the picture and don’t confirm the delivery until I am back in my car so I don’t have to deal with the yee yee ass mfs that I live near. The postmates driver was defeated cause they still have to work to live. I've been working at walmart non stop before and during this whole shit. I just got back from a 2 week leave cause a friend had it and I was in contact with them but I still tested negative. That 2 week break was amazing 😭 it got boring at some points but damn at least I wasn't slaving nonstop for a paycheck at work

He basically knew he was going to get voted off the show soon so he decided to invite one of his friends to come on and his friend said that his grandma had just died and she told him to win the show. Agreed. I live in Texas. Home in Houston, college up near Amarillo. Tons of places just act like nothings going on. Packed bars and nightclubs. Restaurant employees don’t wear masks. It’s crazy. We just had a kindergartener die in Amarillo ISD from COVID, and the same week, some districts in the area were cancelling their online option, forcing all kids to go back irl or unenroll.

As a Floridian, I Straight up have no idea how Florida isn’t worse. My theory is that people do a lot more outdoor activities here. I also think that because we have such a high elderly population that a lot of those folks are staying home and mitigating their risk. How are you gonna make fun of anti-maskers for thinking they know more than scientists when you immediately go on to peddle a conspiracy theory from a YouTuber and NY Magazine about the virus being produced in a lab. Almost every infectious disease society and major journal (JAMA, NEJM, etc.) in the US has released statements and genealogy trees about how the virus likely originated through zoonotic mutation and transmission. Putting Chinese names to conspiracy theories that are literally impossible to verify don’t make them any more credible.
