New Years Tip (mainly for Cody): Start drinking Kombucha with a straw, too acidic for your teeth and can tear enamel off overtime and can stain your teeth

I’m an amazon driver and I’ve been actually extremely surprised at how many thank you’s I’ve gotten. Some people even leave out snacks and drinks. Good people definitely exist! Way deep in the void but they’re there. But thank y’all for keeping my mind and ears busy while I’m outside risking my shit. You guys make it way easier.

The Covid 2 bad bitch bit was the best thing I've heard in a reeeeally long time

I second that

Milky

Yes ^^^^ that was a great video

I found someone who is writing unhinged, vaguely erotic, original copypasta about things like, Trump and Biden fight over Georgia who is a literal state/woman, Trump and Cogsworth the clock, a voter and a mailbox, James Charles and Pennywise, Einstein and Gandhi. Just as long comments on www.reddit.com in random subs and people have kindly compiled them at www.reddit.com/r/demetristrikesagain The James Charles one just reminded me the boys have been talking about him a bit lately.

I drive for listen to you guys while driving for doordash... At first the whole “drop off at door” thing was nice bc its fast and “time is money” ya know? But 10 months later I just got excited bc I had to drop an order off at a car in a parking lot bc they’re tire popped and I got to have a short interaction with them. I hope that answers your question. And for the tips, “we get the whole tip” but theres apparently a law suit against doordash rn bc apparently they haven’t actually been giving us the full tips.

don’t u dare cut your hair Cody

peach

i deliver for uber eats and yes you keep 100% of tips and yes leaving it at door is way better because it less awkward

I’ve been doing GrubHub during the pandemic and it’s honestly been a savior. On our app we’re able to see the amount we’re going to get and how far everything is so it makes it super convenient. I always drop a text when I leave the food and usually nobody text me back but the times they do and say thanks I do kinda feel appreciated. But like the previous people, leaving it at the door is for sure better and saves time. Just have to be careful leaving it at offices and stuff

Hey yall Im a DoorDash driver in Southern California. Ive been using DoorDash on and off for about 3 years now but this year DoorDash is my main source of income. Overall I have done 1,263 doordash deliveries and I gotta say its the perfect quarantine job. Per order I usually get paid around $9-$22 and due to covid restrictions on restaurants I easily make $25-40 an hour now. Last week I made $350 which was 8 hours of dashing. I honestly prefer leaving the food at the door and taking a picture because it saves time and eliminates the issue of customers having to restrain their dogs before opening the door, in the past I have been bit by a german shepherd while handing the food to a customer, luckily i pulled my hand away quick enough so that the german shepherd only bit me with its front teeth. Doordash is pretty easy all I do is make $40 an hour listening to podcasts and hitting my puff bar going between houses and restaurants. One of the things I also love about DoorDash is that you can decline as many orders as you want so you have the ability to cherry pick your orders. Also you can cancel orders after accepting them so if you figure out that the 2 chipotle burritos you’re supposed to deliver for $7 to a third floor apartment 15 minutes away you can cancel that order (which I do often because some apartment complexes are designed by Satan himself). My customer service rating is a 4.81 out of 5. I also get all the tips from my deliveries which I can tell from my $25 deliveries. Also DoorDash has a fast pay feature which allows you to get your money right after your dash is over so you don’t have to wait until Monday.

Noel the type of dude to give the cashier a compliment and think it made her day

garret barber

So I’m driving for DoorDash as I’m listening to this and I gotta say I agree with Cody. I get enough personal interaction with the restaurant workers as I’m picking orders up. It’s way easier for me if people ask me to just leave it at their door because it makes my delivery times quicker so I can ram as many into one hour as possible. I’ve had a few people leave cash tips under their doormat and just tell me where it’s at in the delivery comments and that’s probably my favorite form of “hey thanks for all that you do.” Also like the dudes that yell thanks down the street as I’m walking away so I don’t have to slow down and still get the appreciation.

Jordan Christensen

I do Doordash, I don’t want to see anyone

Eric Shea

Drew Gooden made a really good video about food delivery services and what they actually take out of tips

Chad Graley

Enjoying the random sounds Cody makes more and more as covid ravished the world

I drive delivery and I always want to see the person I deliver to

Dylan Knostman

I do postmates, I like delivering it to the person cuz you’re likely to get a bigger cash tip. The scam with postmates doesn’t seem to be tip related, it’s just that you average about $3-4 bucks a delivery before tip. Fucking bullshit I need a job
