I wanna scream that Maxmoefoe really been the Pokémon guy for YEARS NOW!

Individual cards are worth some, but the value in those will go down. The boxes themselves will always be pricy though. The thing is most people who are buying them now are buying them to open them for content (like Paul), not to keep them as desk pieces, so it sort of is this weird double-edged sword in a way. Nothing new is being made, but those 1st edition card as singles themselves are increasing if that makes sense. It's similar to stuff that has happened in the TCG bubble in other games, but never to this extent/price level. Weird shit.

Alright to fully explain a lot of the misconceptions of pokemon card, you have to understand the only reason some are more expensive is due too "want" and not "how many made". The old set is only expensive due to that old fans want them so the price is solely based on scalpers. The OG Charzard has been reprinted so many times is absolutely NOT RARE. The original Japanese 1st edition is RARE, not many made at the time. The American 1st edition is worthless, there was a crazy amount made so there will never be a shortage of them. There are even new cards that are worth more and made less due to how the company prints cards. Logan Paul is just increasing traffic so scalpers that hype up the card can make way too much money on WORTHLESS AMERICAN PRINT CARDS. Its all a damn scam. Japanese cards have actual value, American cards are just reprints.

Pokemon is still releasing games and shit every so often! So younger kids know a diff generation of Pokemon than we do. Some of the original 150 are still in the games so kids will know some of it. Pokemon cards also still have tournaments going on and stuff so collecting cards to play against others. IDK JUST MY GUESS, but pokemon games and the tv show is still going on!

like Cody said Pokemon is the highest grossing franchise of all time and it still suuuper popular. The latest games on the switch were the highest selling in the entire series. Young kids definitely know what it is and I think there will be a market for cards for a long time. It's huge in Japan and its only getting bigger. The value comes from rarity, ie. the card Logan bought is 1 of like 100 in the entire world. Obviously if you hold on to them forever then theres no value but its definitely gonna raise in price the next couple years. sorry for the rant, also watch MaxmoefoePokemon and please go one Cold Ones hhahah

I havent heard about the whole cards thing at all but it sounds like Logan paul is trying to raise the "hype" around the cards to bring up the demand and thus increase the market price. Hope they see this: TMG literally saved my life. Last week I tried molly and though I was doing a small amount but quickly realised I’d fucked it. Managed to call 999 as I Began to OD. As I sat on the road waiting for the ambulance I listened to the pod and concentrated on what you were saying as I was loosing consciousness and it stopped that until the ambulance arrived. If I didn’t have the pod or my phone I would 100% be dead .Probably should buy the 1k as a thankyou 😂😂
