I did an analysis of Michael Dunn when creating a hate-crime database for work. Motherfucker was wild, a lot of the deeper background stuff on these individuals is open-source, typically through court documents.

The michael dunn part reminds me of this guy I knew. I don't know if it was just as bad because he was lucky he wasn't talking to the police, but when he was filling out a job application, they asked something along the lines of "would you steal money from the company?" and "do you use any drugs?" His dumb fuck answers were "yes, if they weren't paying me enough" and "yes, heroin." When his "friend" asked why, he said "he just wanted to be honest" which is ironic because he's a pathological liar, but he chooses that time to be honest. This is the same guy who got fired from his job and then tried to convince everyone he got it back because "they fired everyone else and just had to take him back."
