It’s weird because I like the Lady Gang and TMG for similar, but also different reasons. They both talk about random “current” events and make jokes about them. They also talk about their weeks and funny things that happen. The things they talk about are different and their view of humor is different and the topics they choose are different, but they’re still entertaining. very very late my bad, but to what noel said about escobar in colombia at about 42:00 - my dad lived in colombia at the time and his family actually knew escobar (his sisters worked in the same factory as my abuela) and you're 100% right, the people actually loved him and supported him because of his work politically and it helped him build an empire much faster. even in the beginning he got people to help him out just on favors, he'd get their trust by just being nice to them and inviting them to his giant house and pool and eventually they'd help him transport shit and protect him. my abuelo got reeled in but came to his senses and they all immigrated to america before shit hit the fan.
