OMG. My American Airlines story last month: I was stuck in Kansas City during a TORNADO and had to evacuate my plane and they wouldn't let us take anything off the plane to get in the shelter under the airport but because of security reasons they had to take every bag off the plane (we weren't allowed to) and my carry-on backpack was misplaced. When I got to Dallas at 3am, I missed my connecting flight to London, they couldn't find my carry-on so I was without my luggage that was lost at DFW and my carry-on went to Charlotte because they were trying to send it to Dublin on the earliest flight (Dublin was my final destination). The next day my flights kept getting delayed because of tornado warnings in Dallas AND I didn't have my carry-on bag full of everything I needed for the long flight, change of clothes, medications, etc. American wouldn't help me AT ALL or even try to locate my bag after talking to agents like 50 times. I finally board my flight from Dallas to London and over Canada, a passenger TWO ROWS BEHIND ME had chest pains, they put him in the aisle, he had a heart attack and DIED ON THE FLIGHT, and we had to divert to Ottawa. We were stuck in Ottawa for a long time which meant I missed my connecting flight from Dublin to London. I get to London and the agents are SO RUDE. I finally get to Dublin the next day (missed three days of my study abroad trip) and American Airlines lost my main luggage in London. After my trip is over I'm flying from Toulouse, France to London to Chicago. In Chicago, a lady after customs scanned my bag and told me to take my luggage to a line to get on a bus to take me to another terminal. I get to the other terminal and they tried to make me pay $300 for my bag because they said British Airways tagged it wrong WTF?? Like that was my fault?? Eventually I landed back home and basically I think Jake Paul should try and cancel American Airlines.

I was trying to get out of LAX on Tuesday through American & when I went to the gate they told me I was put on standby because "the customers who volunteered to miss their flights yesterday were guaranteed a priority spot on this plane." So I got kicked off of my overbooked plane because of an overbooked plane the day before lol. Ended up having to stay overnight in that shitty little stand-alone American terminal waiting for them to tell me if I could get on a plane the next morning. AND my bag got home a day before me so I had to go through airport security for a whole day to get it back🙄 they were just a shit show all week
