I saw Chris D’elia a few weeks ago in Louisville and he had an opener that was doing some shows. The guy came out and said “what’s up Looey-ville?” (Because thats how it’s pronounced but locals pronounce it Looavul, it’s dumb, I know). The whole crowd instead of cheering just starts yelling “Looavul, it’s Looavul” and he spent 4 minutes with the crowd back and forth and was finally like “fuck it, it doesn’t matter”.
