The reason kpop music companies have so much money is because they basically control most media traffic within South Korea. Idol's faces are plastered everywhere, billboards, restaurants, subways, shops etc, and any item being sold with their names on it such as makeup or clothes can be considered an instant sell out. You would think music is the only thing groups release but there's tour merch, DVDs, subscriptions for fan exclusive stuff, vlogs, seasonal merch, and many other things that make them money. big companies have the power to block other artists from having their music advertised so idols under them are almost always guaranteed a high level of success and exposure, like for example having a fanbase before even releasing their first song. To put into better perspective just how massive this market is, BTS alone brought in about $4 billion to the South Korean economy this year.

i used to be a big fan of the ACE family years ago. i was like 14/15 when i first watched them i think idk but i was much younger. this was way before all allegations (that are def true) against austin came out. i watched them when they first got pregnant with the first kid. i used to watch it because i thought of them as “couple goals” because i was a young kid that didnt know anything about real relationships. but soon after i grew up and realized its all bullshit and acting and that they’re the worst people on earth lmfao.

week 4. week 4 of trying to eat my food as i listen to cody and noel discuss hot diarrhea. i've finally gained the courage to try to actually eat my food again, instead of just pushing it to the side uncomfortably when the topic inevitably arises each week. i'm not sure how i keep running into the issue. i remember the first incident like it was yesterday. i finally had a day off to treat myself at my favorite cafe downtown. i hadn't been in months. i got my favorite meal: turkey sandwich and tomato bisque. i had just sat down to eat when i remembered there was a new episode of my favorite podcast out! what a great addition to my afternoon, so i had thought. i listened to cody and noel discuss the antics of the shiterrorist for as long as i could before i felt my lunch start to rise from my stomach. its now week 4. body fluid attacks are a recurring segment on the TMG podcast. each week i ask myself why i pay $5 every month just to watch these guys talk about poop and pee a week before everyone else... but here i am.
