i loved that video i noticed the editing and thought it was fucking hilarious because of it

I think the thing is that people are used to their that’s cringe to be a slower show,with minimal editing so it’s like you’re watching a video with your boys, so the change from minimal editing to a highly edited show was a pretty big change

I used to work there, too and thank god I never had that because the rude customers were bad enough already. One time this old guy told me to "shove it where it doesn't shine" because I had to tell him I couldn't give him the online price for the book he wanted. Even though the paper he was holding and the sign right there said the same thing.... I work at Whole Foods- Whole Foods rude is different from B&N rude. Even Whole Foods nice customers are nicer than B&N nice customers- and both stores exist in the same shopping center about a minutes away from each other. It's like both exist in different universes. We occasionally get weird people at Whole Foods though. I wasn't there, but one time a guy (I think they said he was homeless, on drugs, or both) shit all over the walls. Another time, a random lady came in and started bagging for customers because she wanted to "volunteer" and then she stood in the cafe area not moving for 30+ minutes. And I mean she was standing there like a statue. And recently, this guy was making a scene- I think he was on drugs. On a plus side, Laura Prepon was there (even though I wasn't...)

I used to work at barnes and noble and at least 3 times a week we got people fapping in the bathrooms. We knew cause there was a little nightstand table in between men and womens bathroom and we always found the raunchiest magazines, ripped out of the packaging, just left there face down

Makes me sad that people are hating on the new editing. I literally had a convo with someone else who keeps up with your videos and we both agreed that it was funny and that the editing made it better.

I also relate to Noel on the low IQ and the existential crisis lol. For me, both have been combined even though I'm working on it. One time I got a grade lower than I expected in a class. I could barely eat for two days and I would cry at night lmao. I got a B, which I'm usually happy for, but I had an A throughout most of the term and thought I did a lot better on the final. I would think, "am I even meant for this? Maybe I'm just too stupid for this. I will never be that A student because I'm a dumbass with a low IQ." Meanwhile, this was last term and I have only 9 credits left until my BS. Also, the class was a 400 sensory physiology course.

I had a similar experience with Noel. I nutted in a restaurant bathroom while my family was playing trivia. I nutted so hard that the nut traveled over the stall wall into the other stall. I guess the guy one over didn’t notice.

I think like with all things on social media, once people see someone’s negative opinion it kind of feeds their own negativity. Honestly thought the new video was hilarious and loved the editing. Then saw the comments and almost caught myself thinking those same thoughts...that it was over the top and too much. But I realized I was allowing someone else dictate how I felt about it, and I honestly believe that is what happened...everyone was jumping on the negative bandwagon.

the editing is intimidating to people who aren't used to crack edits, but i think the format works best w/ noel's content more than cody's. Noel's live channel has the same frenetic style so i wasn't shocked when i watched steamy tweets. hope y'all keep Noah, but better integrate him in for that's cringe. Also the video was so fucking gross, the editing was the least of my worries.

The biggest problem I had with the editing was that sometimes it looked like dropped frames or something. He would do zoom or jump cuts and there would be a "frame buffer" or something where the video would almost pause for like 5 frames and it seemed like sloppy editing, but I think it was intended to be an effect.

Noel, your existential crisis about not being funny anymore that you've been having for the last month or so is all in your head- don't talk yourself into believing it.

The first time I watched the video I didn’t really see anything wrong but then my friend texted me talking about how she didn’t like the editing and when I went back and rewatched it the editing was a little overwhelming. But I definitely think people did get too aggressive about it which Noah doesn’t deserve. But honestly I’d watch any content you guys put out and be happy with it.

I thought Noah’s editing was hilarious- I laughed out loud so many times during that vid I scared my cats. I guess people just have different styles. It reminded me of how Cody always says “clipping the mic is funny”, which I totally agree with- the quick deep cuts in the recent vid were kind of on the same level of that for me. Anyway, I loved Noah’s editing and it kind of bums me out that it got such a negative backlash because now he’s going to have to change it or tone it down.

I just feel like you guys don't realize a lot people watch your shit because of your personalities not the way you edit. The editing took away from that. No hate on the editor cause the video he did with Noel was hilarious and a lot more tame. I feel like you guys are worried that you aren't funny. this could be the lamest take ever idk but if you guys went back to doing programming (momentarily like a few months) i think it would add a sense of nostalgia almost? i really don’t know what i’m trying to say, but i think the entire appeal of this podcast began as two newly unemployed programmers at a dining table and i think it’d be a cool thing to revisit....obviously this has grown to be so much more, but it was the simplicity that hooked everyone in and even though there’s so many more consumers, the laid back and carefree vibe will never go unappreciated (no one’s reading this whole post lmao)

Fuck the people who didn't enjoy the video they don't know shit. Keep the editor and keep doing that style if that what you prefer. At the end of the day, it is your channel. Do what you think is right. Trust your gut 'cause when you started your channel you did what you liked and that brought you success, why should you switch up now and take advice from people who have no clue what they are talking about. I think the worst thing for a creative person is to not evolve. Please don't stay the same. I'm sure that in a year or two if you keep making the episodes in that style, the people who are complaining now are going to get bored with the episodes.
