Ik this is an older ep but I’m catching up & I just wanted to say that I didn’t notice anything off about y’all & think the past few episodes were really good + funny, even after y’all mentioning that people have commented on the chemistry I still didn’t pick up on anything like that. I think it really depends on the high school you went to, and who you hang around with. My entire class was addicted to nicotine and stuff, and some circles abused percs and coke pretty hard, but I'd say my high school was pretty tame. We generally had like, 5 good parties a year and that was it, and not a lot of kids were fucking. My mom went to the same high school in the late 80's tho, and apparently her class partied hard 4 times a week and abused really hard drugs like meth and heroin, as well as having the worst teen pregnancy rate in the state.

I'd say that the Euphoria show is pretty true drug wise maybe not sex wise. but this town corrupt so.

Noel you got a few things wrong about the Jorge thing: He sucker punched Leon Edwards after the Till fight. Leon is not affiliated with till, and they're definitely not friends. The ko of Ben is awesome, but his trash talk is PG at best. He never said anything horrible about Jorge, basically called him stupid (which he is) and that he's insecure about his manhood if he has to sucker punch another fighter (I would also agree with this). Also, ben never said anything about his family, Jorge was saying how he wanted to end Ben's bloodline (even tho he already has 3 kids lmao). I have the best dog story for you all. So, a friend of mine for a long time wasn't trusted by her parents to have a pet. She lived alone, but was frankly too irresponsable and careless at the time to convince her parents otherwise. She always wanted a chihuahua, and eventually her parents were like "you can have a cat first. They're more independent" etc. When she'd had the cat for a couple years her parents finally gave the okay on the chihuahua puppy. First night, she leaves this tiny little pup in a crate in the kitchen and heads up to bed. Next morning, she comes down and THE CAT HAD SOMEHOW GOT INTO THE CAGE AND EATEN THE PUPPY. There was a bit of blood and a few bones left and THAT'S IT. The cat was just looking at her with a smug look on it's face like "thanks for the tasty meal mum"

Yes, it makes it harder for them to quit certain substances compared to other people (I know a YouTuber who smoked crack for a week when he was younger, but just stopped because he got bored of it and never went back to it again- Joe Jitsukawa), but at the same time it's not like they're mindless zombies who can never get clean because addictions completely control their brain. This whole debate on whether it's their brain or them is kind of both from what I've learned. It's kind of like depression, anxiety, or OCD- you don't choose to have it, you don't control how receptors in your brain work, but at the same time you can still choose to get help or make an effort. Sort of like what Cr1tikal did about his OCD and how Joe Jitsukawa learned about his ADHD. Also what the fuck about that puppy. At least if I'm ever tempted to smoke pot today I won't because I'll probably spin myself in a dark tunnel thinking about that.

the drug scene in high school is insane right now especially in rich areas lol...half the time you would never suspect it. I would run into kids that seemed to have their shit together at parties messing with all sorts of shit. the show might dramatize it more just cause the writer based the main character on his actual drug addiction. the sex is a lot though, regardless of how relatable it actually is it is still hard to stomach at times, not even because it seems inaccurate but because even in the craziest scenarios they show it would remind me of something that had actually happened in real life. I don't know what your bisexual relationship comment was about but yeah queer people are queer in high school too and the shit show that can turn into while in high school in my personal gay experience is pretty accurate. so far I like it cause it does not romanticize shit lol the narration is literally like "look at all the dumb shit we deal with" while also holding characters accountable for the dumb shit they do get themselves into

RE: the drug use in teens, had a friend I only saw at parties, he was always a bit drunk and smoked cigarettes sometimes but nothing more, then a few months later heard he had overdosed on LSD and died. Like, out of the blue. I had no idea he was even into anything like that. So shocking and upsetting.
