Time to put my analyzing panties on. Ellie would likely be aware that Pumpkin and Quinn have been spending time together. This takes place after the first convention but before the events of "The Chain". If Pumpkin has been coming over on most weekdays, she couldn't keep it a secret from Ellie for long. I also don't imagine that Quinn would be inclined to keep it a secret from Ellie, anyway.She likely would, however, agree not to discuss Pumpkin's sexual orientation. Ellie would also be aware of the Kat debacle. She's aware that an older brunette tried to take advantage of her little sister. Now she walks in on an older brunette in what appears to be a compromising position with her little sister. I'm not surprised that Ellie would be upset. Considering that Ellie also knows about Pumpkin's cosplaying, a quick explanation should clear this up. Also, Quinn is seen wearing the Ender Man hoodie in "The Chain", so we can presume that everyone is still friendly after this all plays out. This promises to be rather explosive in the short-term, though.

Woohoo! Called the reason for the preview image. Also, of course Ellie is Power Girl. How could she be anything else in Pumpkin's imagination in a DC comic setting? The thing I find most interesting (from a story/character development stance) about the Power Girl Ellie frame is that Pumpkin is truly sufficiently worried/upset about this part of her life intersecting with her family that she'd view Ellie's surprised/upset WTF reaction in a glowing eyes & exuding lighting bolts fashion as opposed to just floating along looking skeptical. Sometimes I forget that Pumpkin is 15 and I just assume she'll be a little more grown-up/mature than is realistic.

This is the last DC inspired comic. Since Pumpkin mentioned Ellie could cosplay as a Powergirl in street clothes, this has come full circle.

Shotgun Shuffle only use the freshest hells bought daily at the local farmer's market.
