Supporter Newsletter - January

Hello to all of our beautiful Supporters! I want to start off by wishing you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope everyone had an amazing time during the holiday season. It was definitely a fun holiday season and I hope you got to spend it with friends and family. I know my family likes to eat lots of food but I bet many families are like that so I hope you all didn't eat too much. Have you started working on your new years resolution?

December was an amazing month that felt like it went by too fast. As many of you would have seen, we had one of our biggest holiday seasons here in Requiem in 2022. There was so much fun happening from staff down to all of our members in the community. I really hope you all enjoyed the awesome events and giveaways we hosted throughout the month. Let's raise a glass to 2023 and making it even better for Requiem!

We're currently undergoing some further changes behind the scenes with our staff and working on implementing some new flows. The goal is to help our current Admins, Moderators, and Officers to have more tools at their disposal and make their roles easier within the community. These people are the core of our community and what really makes the gears move so we're constantly working to make things run better. You'll in turn see this for the better within the community as things shape up and we can give you all new fun things to do.

Jumping into expenses for the previous month please be aware that I am only speaking on all money spent within Requiem. This does not include any out of pocket costs and/or anything we did not spend for the month.
- Staff Benefits (32%)
  - Staff Payments, Team Budgets, Officer of the Month, Staff Gift Cards, etc.
- Server Hosting & Design Work (13%)
  - VPS, Dedicated Machines Hosting, Graphic Design, Video Editing, etc.
- Events & Giveaways (35%)
  - Community Events, Community Giveaways, Prizing, etc.
- Normal Monthly Savings (20%)
  - Charity Events and Taxes
None of the above is limited to what has been mentioned. There could easily be something I missed on the list but may be roping those expenses in.

Hello Supporters,  

Mookest here. Thank you to all of you for a great 2022. We are now moving into a new year and Requiem is going to bigger and better as we grow together. I’m excited to be part of such a great community that brings happiness and joy to so many people. Requiem is my home and I thank you all for sharing this place and making it your home too. I hope all of you stick with us in 2023 and help us make this community bigger and better in the new year. I wish you all well and have a great year!

Hello, my favorite people!  

It’s that time again here on Requiem…   

The holidays were upon this month and we saw some great gifts from Rare. Many days of plentiful drops of some exciting cosmetic items, all winter themed. Speaking of drops, who is your favorite streamer to watch for your drops? Drop a comment in our SoT general chat and let us know! Who knows, maybe one day Requiem will partner with your favorite streamer for some content!     

We also saw a “Gift and Glory” event where you were able to receive multipliers for all your Sea of Thieves goals. What did you focus on? The Gold? The Glory? The Factions? Once again, we’d love to hear what you thought of this season's holiday tidings. Drop us a line and let's hear some of your war stories from those glorious days and nights of Pirating.      

We hope you enjoyed your holiday season with us here on Requiem. We adorned some festive names and colors for the season as well! Did you participate in any of our Holiday contests? Don’t forget that Grogmanay is in full swing and we all look forward to seeing your Grog-soaked shenanigans. Speaking of Grogmanay, we’d like to raise our tankards to our supporters this season.
