News Update: This Month's Update and What's Next

So as of this past month we've had a lot of exciting developments in regards to Cyber Rift and future content with the game. This coming update is all about "Junky's Bizarre Adventure" and although we're not quite ready to discuss details about it, we have some exciting news in regards to other developments.

First off: Music!

So some of you may have noticed in the creator spotlight there was a sample file of some music for the game. This was actually a clip from one of the songs we're going to be featuring in this next update. The update will feature unique songs for each of the games three locations as well as the menu, and we hope that you'll be able to check out the Music Artist when we have a dedicated post about them in the new few weeks. Each of these tracks are unique and were created only for Cyber Rift, so you guys have a whole new soundtrack to enjoy when you play the update!

Second: New User Interface!

Another major improvement that we've been focused on is the user experience, and we felt that the default RenPy user UI wasn't quite up to par with the standard of quality we want with the game. This update will feature new fonts, new menu interface, and hopefully a whole new title screen to accompany the new music!

Finally: Gestures and Expressions!

So finally the last thing we wanted to improve in the game is to add more character to well the characters, so this update will focus on adding more facial expressions to make the game feel a lot more lively. We're hoping to add proper expressions for every character eventually, but if some characters lack any extra portraits that will be addressed in the future!
