Harvesting The Witch Queen - Chapter 265: The Hourglass' Arrival

Chapter 265: The Hourglass’ Arrival

The knight, the witch, the ranger, and the barbarian all went to bed after their beach day.

It seemed like it was going to be a peaceful night until…

June’s armor suddenly began glowing of a yellow-orange light!

It lit the bedroom so much that it woke everyone in a very limited amount of time. It woke June first, but then it was also the case for Junk, then, September and then finally April.

“No! It can’t be!” June shouted.

“What’s wrong?” Junk asked.

“Um…” September anticipated the worst.

“What’s that light?” Meanwhile, April scratched her eyes, caught off-guard by the strong and invasive light. She scratched her eyes just was much as shrouded them from that blinding light coming out of the warrior’s armor.

“There’s no time to waste! Someone’s attacking the shrine!” June declared.

They all arrived at June's shrine in no time, June and Junk made it there first.

There was no one there at first.

It was tranquil.

However, this wouldn’t last for too long, unfortunately…

“Do you see anything?” the knight asked the female barbarian.

“Oh, God… There’s light inside! Someone has entered the shrine!” June declared.

June rushed inside the shrine and then Junk followed.

Inside, the orange light they saw outside became even brighter. It was blinding the two of them even, but as they ventured deeper into the shrine and eventually made it to the sacred chamber where the pearl was being kept their eyes had gotten used to that blinding illumination. Well, enough for them to see the nightly intruder within the sacred room. They discovered a dark figure in a robe. It could have been a man, but as they entered the chamber, they realized that she was a tall woman. The pearl was no longer on its socket. Instead, it was inside the hands of the intruder.

Outside of that, the first thing that Junk noticed was the sublime and pronounced hourglass figure of the dark woman in robe.

It was unlike anything else he had seen before.

September, April, June and many other women he had met before all had impressive and beautiful hourglass figures, but the sexy hourglass figure of that mysterious woman was unlike anything else he had witnessed before.

At first, the woman’s face couldn’t be seen at all since she wore a pointy hood and darkness was shrouding her face, but that didn’t last for too long since she quickly pulled her hood down to reveal her true identity…

The woman under the hood was one Junk had never seen before, which was also possibly the case for June judging on the mystified look on her face.

She was beautiful. Junk couldn’t exactly make out what her species was, but he knew that she was quite a gorgeous woman. There was still a lot of darkness within the chamber, which prevented him from seeing her too well, so he couldn’t see what her hair color was, but her beauty was not in question.

“Do you know her?” The knight had to ask her.

“I don’t… But I think I have a good idea who that is…” June feared.

“What do you mean? Is that the hourglass woman you spoke of earlier?” He suspected.

June shook her head.

“It looks like the only thing that was needed for you to forget keeping watch on the shrine twenty-four-seven was a man—your only weakness,” the mysterious woman who was in possession of June’s pearl spoke for the first time. Her voice was incredibly deep and sensual at the same time. It pulled Junk’s attention and captivated him. He had heard many women talking in seductive ways before, of course, but this was something completely and drastically different from any voice he had heard before. It was comforting, and erotic, but also off. There was something odd about it, almost as if the voice of this stranger was constantly going through a tunnel. It sounded like it had been modified and there was also a curious accent that Junk couldn’t quite pick up on yet.

“So, it was truly you who was after my pearl, huh? Hand it back to me and I won’t hurt you too much,” June menaced the mysterious woman, as if this was going to help. It could, but at this point, the woman who raided the shrine was so confident that it didn’t feel like that any form of menace wasn’t going to do anything too constructive.

“Come and get it,” the mysterious woman taunted the barbarian.

She shouldn’t have done that.

June was about to rage.

From a determined step, she came right for her, raising her longsword high in the air, attacking her headstrong, however…

THUD!

Before June could swing at her, the woman with the hourglass-shaped suddenly pulled out a long staff that had been crafted in the shape of an hourglass, exactly just like her body and she struck the warrior with it!

June was sent back.

“June!”

The knight hated to see something like that, so he came to her assistance right away, not exactly stopping to see what her injury was all about, but instead, he circled around her and charged at the enemy!

“Minotaur Ax Blade!” Junk shouted the name of his attack, which was quite appropriate since he had immediately summoned his demonic Minotaur evolved armor as soon he and June were drawn in emergency to the shrine after waking up in the middle of the night.

The knight was dead certain that he was going to deliver a solid blow to the strange and mysterious woman, however…

THUD!

The woman with the hourglass shape swung her curious scepter at him, as well long before he could ever attack her! She hit right in the helmet, reflecting him away from her!

Now, both Junk and June were down on the ground and the mysterious woman towered over them, still in the possession of the barbarian’s pearl.

“I’ll be on my way, now,” she announced with a sufficient, but elegant tone in her voice.

She slowly turned around, turning their back to them.

“No, you’re not going anywhere…” June grunted.

“Thief…” Junk declared.

“Oh, and before I go… I have to admit, I was looking forward to meeting you and… You didn’t disappoint. Well, I mean, you certainly in terms of combat skills, but I’m glad we finally met. I hope we meet again soon…” Those were the very last words the mysterious woman uttered before blinking out of the room and teleporting away—vanishing into thin air along with the pearl.
