Too late, he already did, and he said it was pretty good. Of course it'll never be the original, but he thought it was well done for a remake.

2022-12-02 04:25:34 +0000 UTCOverall, I enjoy the Live Action Remake of Beauty and the Beast. It has it’s complaints. For one, the directors used auto tune in an attempt to make Emma Watson sound more like the actress who sang in the cartoon. Secondly, Disney advertised the movie as having the first gay character—and it does add character depth to the motivations of the character—but it’s hard to miss if you aren’t looking for it. That being said, I feel like character development is better in the remake, and they do try to answer some questions about the curse that the original didn’t (like when you were asking how the town’s people never found the place). It’s definitely worth reacting to.

I know Disney doesn't have the best reputation with their live action remakes, like what they did with their Lion King remake for example, but their Beauty and the Beast one, I felt was pretty faithful to the original, with of course a few changes here and there, and a different cast of course, but it still felt like a Beauty and the Beast movie! 😊 Plus Emma Watson is a great actress!
