Ah I’m actually really glad to hear that! I loved series two and this one had funny bits but to be honest, I was worried if the entire series was like this episode that I wouldn’t like it as much.

It's more of a clever political satire than outright funny. Moving forwards though the episodes are more in tone with Blackadder 2, so don't worry too much.

The commons can make a law, but the Lords have to agree with it . The joke is that it doesn't matter how many poor people want to bankrupt the king... He still controls the Lords who need the King to be in charge. Oh wait, that's not funny. That's just the United Kingdom.
