By now you've surely heard Jordan's point about how pointless it is to compare Australia to other countries with vastly different history and political systems like Norway. But what if you were to do the comparison with a country a little bit closer to home?
That's right, it's Australia VS New Zealand. Let's tear them apart boiz.

Now NZ$2.90 for something that's only worth a dollar. The good aussie olive oil? Was $16, now $24. Milk, was $3.00 for 2L, now fucking $4.93, never mind the utter rip off on the butter. Oh and of all the galling shit, San Remo's orange crap pasta is now 10 cents more than the good Italian stuff La Molisana sells at $3.50. Might be cheaper than Australia, but with lower wages the inflation on food hurts a lot more people.

And our politics is also saner because there's no mining magnates or Murdoch's dragging it down. Just millionaires, Tory Scum and the whingy boomers Think Big was a bit of a shitshow though, only the dams really paid their way back. The mega steel mill was a good idea, though it more recycles iron and steel these days due to cheap Chinese steel that sometimes doesn't make the grade. While Ruthanasia lead to my mum starving herself to feed me and my now goblin of a brother. Like a lot of parents reliant on welfare did at the fucking time. And on the current shitshow, it's the fucking 90's again in many ways, everything cut to the point of collapsing, house prices are still stupid and slowly, but surely, everyone is getting pissed off at Luxon et al. Too the point, even the right wing biased polling company has Labour, Greens and Te Maori Parti forming a government next election. Oh and the fucked up the ferries too, you should do a vid on that because it's a $800 million+ schemozzle of hilarious, brain dead stupidity waste that makes Tony Abbot look competent lawl. Anyhow, as long as Gina Rinehart is imprisoned in Australia it's NZ> Australia for me, also, it's too fucking hot over the ditch.

Astronomical numbers of public servants laid off. Teachers, cops, nurses, and doctors fleeing overseas, as well as pretty much any graduate in their 20s with a brain. It’s cheaper to buy groceries in New Zealand than Australia during a recession. Our currency is a twenty dollar difference to their own but comparing prices over there to us, we pay more and monopolies taken over supermarkets in Australia than Kiwi land!
