End of it is a comment from some members of the committee, including Timothy “fuck ya super” Wilson, more or less saying they want the public interest advocates (when a warrant is out for a journalist for surveillance, PIAs are meant to put a case against the warrant) to have LESS influence/power, ie, they want it to be easier to surveillance a journalist for things like sources and whistleblowers Not sure about the other members who signed that statement, but Tim Wilson stood out and I assume the others are LNP hacks too
