Poll followup - What comes next!

Hi, all! 

This month's poll/results were 100% the most fascinating, out of any poll I've ever taken on here. I deeply, deeply appreciate everyone who voted and especially everyone who commented their thoughts!

The thing is, I have so many ideas of what content I'd like to do on here. Unfortunately, between an ongoing story, bonus scenes, and writing... well, actual books (the biggest time consumer of all), it doesn't leave a ton of room to do more than a couple extra content pieces per month. 

The positive flip side of that, is that I have no plans of leaving patreon, so there are years to come of bonus content and stories for characters! And I'm really excited now to have a finger on the pulse of what people are wanting to see. 

The top results in the poll were for The Snowball Effect (aka Regan/Emma's story) and for ongoing stories for characters already established in the HCLU, a la Midnight Rain - and these results were only FIFTEEN VOTES off from one another. That's crazy close! Out out 270 votes, approximately 217 were for those options. 

So, what I have to say about that is this - 

I hear you. And my patreon is a place not only for me to pick and choose what I want to share writing-wise, but also where I want to take into account what you are looking for. So, you will be getting both. 

From the comments I read, the thing it seems many people are looking for is a Forever and A Day style story about Riley and Gianna. The good news about that is - it's happening! I intend to publish it in late 2024, around the anniversary of the publication of On the Same Page. It will be about 6 scenes, covering big moments in their relationship. 

I've long said that I wanted to/planned to write a Regan/Emma story, and I also have had an idea for them for a long time. In terms of publishing, though, I have some big plans coming up in the next year or two, and I'm not sure when, exactly, I'd get around to them. So, I've decided to switch it to a patreon release! 

and... I gotta say - there were a few AU ideas put into the comments that I'm really into, as well.

A When You Least Expect It au, where Caroline never worked with Michael. She and Hannah don't know one another, until Caroline hires Hannah, an architect, to build her home. A When You Least Expect It au where Hannah never married Michael and is raising baby Abbie alone, and unexpectedly meets Caroline. 

Someone even mentioned the Sutton/Charlotte au I've had where they don't ever meet irl in a Those Who Wait timeline, but instead meet for the first time 6-7 years later. Sutton is in her early 30's, a professor at NYU. Charlotte, mid-30s, is a rising star politician, who responds to several emails she receives from a very persistent redheaded literature professor who specializes in women's lit and LGBT studies.

God, the future looks very bright, if I say so myself. I hope you stick around with me to see it :)
