thats NOT what happened though, he didnt talk to gojo for a minute, the prison realm only cares how much time passes in the targets head, when gojo saw "geto" literal years passed in his mind in the span of a second, thats why the prison opened immediately when gojo saw geto.

2024-01-12 20:53:26 +0000 UTCGlad you liked the episode, one of the things i thought was so cool was how the disaster cureses thought they had to fight gojo for 1 minute in a certain spot to allow the cube thing to in prison him, but instead geto(imposter) chose to distract him instead and catch gojo off guard to then talk to him for a min and seal him. Incredible writing imo as it subverts what you’d expect to happen but also shows how fighting isnt the only way you can handle a situation in shonen.

Had he used it any longer he would have fried those guys brains and everybody would be a vegetable. That's unbelievable strength and then if you saw after he was done, everybody was just standing there looking up because they're still processing half a year's worth of information in that time frame
