"One of the truly monumental landmarks of Morrowind, the Great Ghost Fence keeps the blight contained to Red Mountain, using power obtained by interring the dead directly into the Ghost Fence. And today's Mod of the Day expands upon that lore, for today we're taking a look at Memento Mori by Team Gobblin Goblins.
This fairly massive mod adds three great ossuaries to the game, one on each side of Red Mountain, that act as places to store and inter the dead that power the Great Ghost Fence. Connected by a massive network of catacombs that run all around Red Mountain, these ossuaries are maintained by a variety of Temple orders, including the Order of Ghosts, the Clockwork Acolytes, Buoyant Armigers, and more.
A visually-stunning addition to the game, Memento Mori contains everything, from new expanded lore that blends in perfectly with the vanilla game, to scenic new locations, massive dungeons, new quests and adventures to go on, and some truly atmospheric places to visit.
This is arguably one of the largest mods released for the 2022 Madness competition, and given just how well it blends in with the vanilla game's lore and design, I really cannot recommend it enough, it feels like a natural extension to Morrowind!"
