This is my fully custom rig fan-art of the Mimic, from the latest Five Nights At Freddy's instalment! This rig was made from scratch, and should work in all versions of Blender. However, it was made in Blender 4.4, and the RigUI is tailored for Blender versions 4.0 and above.

🤔 Why this rig?

Whilst making this rig, I have always kept the animator in the forefront of my mind.

And as a result, I have made the rig behaviour logical and as easy as possible to animate on! The workflow to extend the limbs is simple, and non destructive! A lot has gone on, under the hood, to offer as much control as possible, but I have kept the number of controllers as low as possible without sacrificing any control.

I have put a lot of effort into making this the best possible, and best performing rig that I could make for this character. And with the community being so talented, it would mean so much to see people using my character rig and progressing their own skills too!

• Added "pin/anchor" bones for the elbows and knees.
• IK stretching can now be toggled.
