While it’s heartbreaking to see Kousuke’s situation, the fact that he’s doubting and at least listening to Hansuke gives me so much hope. I know the road isn’t easy and Yui is going to squeeze her claws harder but my high quality son needs a nap and fluffy blanket. (Love the detail about him remembering the word tea over coffee.) It’s all so devastating but at the same time fulfilling as a reader to see all the threads and foreshadowing/clues come together. If Nana needs a witch hunting sidekick, I’m available 24/7. (I also wonder if Rand is at church… and if the holy water is strong enough against Yui if that’s where this is going.)
