2025-03-19 05:05:34 +0000 UTCMan I'm dying to know if Shin Hye's distanced way of referring to Sim Han is just purely because she only knows him through her mothers past descriptions of Sim Han, or because Shin Hye is fully aware he isn't actually her father. (Or Both). In for a even sadder spiral for her if she isn't aware that Sim Han isn't her biological father... :( Like we know she is obsessed and objectifies Shin Ae, so it begs wondering (despite the fact she stalks anyone remotely connected to Shin Ae) why that isn't the same 'level' towards Sim Han as a 'main' topic rather than sub topic. I def think both were hiding shit from the respective sisters they had custody over. So question is how much did "mom" potential exaggerate versus was actually the dirty truth thats been hidden from Shin Ae this time? Was Sim Han JUST protecting Shin Ae from info about "mother" or was he covering his own ego too?... I feel Shin Hye seems more alert/distrusting of particularly men in the parts of the story she's spoken in so far. I lean thinking Sim Han has a lot more problems that stemmed from alcoholism as we have already seen his fast flicker to anger and scaring those around him multiple times. Couple that with alcohol and.... yeah. not implying Mom's a cake walk, clearly she isn't. And this doesn't erase the parts of Sim Han that has done all he can in shitty circumstances to be a good father to Shin Ae... its their material conditions and struggle to survive fueling much of the flames here. Didn't expect Shin Hye content tonight but I am so happy :) (Sorry for 2nd comment! Thanks Quim)

Shin Hye is my obsession 👀💚 Edit: Back home now and reviewed and I got it REALLY close in my Shin Hye bible! Similar meaning words but different choices here and there :)
