2 Year Anniversary

I released How to Fix the Future on 26 April 2021. Wow, what a journey. And we are just getting started. I was so nervous when releasing it. A blank Patreon page, just me on my Discord server and a voice in my head telling me "are you sure?" I didn't know what I was doing. I had no experience in game dev, 3d and programming whatsoever. As well as, I didn't have many expectations. I just wanted to tell my story and create something beautiful. Now, two years later, I know it was the right decision. 

Last month we hit my second goal and almost reached 400 patrons. That is an insane number for me. In the beginning, I thought reaching even 100 patrons would be a dream come true. But here we are now. I'm very grateful to all of you who support me. In any way. You are the reason that game still lives and grows. Moreover, it keeps getting better. I just updated my hardware, and I got myself the most important part, a new GPU. The old one extremely limited my options and made it so time-consuming to develop new updates. But now, with 4090 things will go much faster. And it's all thanks to you.

You can see how much I've learned since then. And all of this on my old hardware. Of course, there's still a lot I can learn and what to improve. And I guess I'll never stop.

How to Fix the Future is an ambitious game. I didn't realize how much when I just started. It's been two years, and we're only in the second chapter. However, there was force majeure when development stopped for almost half a year and then when I had to work with only a couple of hours of power per day. I really hope future updates will be easier and faster to develop, especially with new hardware. 

I guess we'll see what the future holds, and I hope the next year will be even more successful and rich for updates^^
