Team Radious Summary 2018

Hello Everyone, Team Radious Here!

2018 is coming to an end, and we thought that it is a great opportunity to reminisce and to sum up this bygone year: everything that our Team has been up to; what has been happening in our modding community in general; and what we have planned for the future!

First and foremost, however, we would like to thank all of our Patrons once again. It was a productive year for us, but it also has been quite testing at certain points. Your support was, and still is, what drives us forward and what allowed us to pull through these tougher periods. We hope that 2018 has been kind to all of you and wish you all the best for 2019!

Enough with the sweet-talking, let’s move on to the reminiscing part. 2018 was a year jam packed with updates and releases of Total War games, so our mods followed suit. Probably the biggest update, and one which took us almost two and a half months of daily work to finish, was the Anniversary Update for Rome II, which came exactly 3 years after we have last updated our Rome II mod! It was a massive undertaking, and we are glad that so many people were able to enjoy the fruits of our labour. Entire mod was completely reworked, supports all dlcs and latest game patch, all our work put together and fully fleshed out.

Warhammer II has also received quite a lot of CA’s love, with Campaign packs and additional Legendary Lords being added into the game. It fills us with pride to say that we were able to release updates for our Warhammer II mods and a host of our submods on the release day of each of these expansions (Tomb Kings, Queen and the Crone and Vampire Coast), to allow our fans a seamless gaming experience. We have updated all faction rosters with additional lore friendly units and currently working on Vampire Coast.

We have also released an overhaul for the first of the Total War Sagas, Thrones of Britannia, and have been supporting it ever since. It got many new custom units (which will be hopefully soon implemented into campaign), tons of smaller and larger changes to make this game again fully Radious oriented.

All our social media are getting regular, daily updates. You can easily find there all news, articles, release infos, pictures and previews from us and about all we are working on!

There have also been some changes in our Team itself. We have welcomed a new member, Synthetic Man, who joins our ranks to assist in our mission of delivering the highest quality TW content! He has been a moderator on our Discord server and has been cooperating with us loosely before. Unfortunately, we also had to say goodbye to SpartanVI who had to leave the team for family reasons, but he remains on friendly terms with us and can often be seen on our servers.

Let us cast one eye on the future now. Probably the closest is yet another Warhammer II Overhaul update, which will finalise the Vampire Coast roster with additional custom units, that can be expected around the beginning of December 2018. We are also planning to continue supporting any and all Warhammer II, Rome 2 and ToB content that CA releases, with quality and diligence characteristic of Radious mods! Furthermore, a new Radious overhaul is planned once TW: Three Kingdoms hits the shelves, so stay tuned!

But to support yet another TW game – 7th exactly after Shogun 2, Rome 2, Attila, Warhammer 1, Warhammer 2 and Thrones of Britannia we need your support! We also have a humble request to make. We would not annoy you with it if it would not be important to us. With our current information we can expect: an early 2019 DLC for Warhammer 2; big update and possible DLC for Thrones of Britannia; possible new patch and DLC for Rome 2 and on top of that release of Three Kingdoms. Each of these will require a crazy amount of work, dedication and sacrifice of free time from our tiny team. Summing  it all up, 2018 was a productive year. A new full TW game being released and a host or larger and smaller updates to other titles has definitely kept us busy. Our hearts are melting at the thought of so many people enjoying our content for several years now, and we would like to thank all of you for your continuous support and feedback!
