Why not playing videos online?
Added 2023-09-20 17:56:48 +0000 UTCAs stated in the welcome message, we shall download the videos to our VR headset in order to watch them. But why can't we instead just play them directly from the browser?
Unfortunately, this would quickly burn the monthly bandwidth budget, so such feature would considerably increase the cost of the cloud storage. We've been speaking with other studios and they actually complaint whenever any patron inadvertently don't follow their request and watch VR videos directly from the Mega, even though they all explicitly ask not to.
If you're REALLY interested in skipping the download, we might consider adding the feature of watching online for those willing to pay an extra to compensate for the increased cost. In this case, please like, comment or reach out by DM. If there are enough patrons interested, then we may start planning how this would work it out.
