Some of my favorite pictures I’ve taken of Marie. Feeling inspired by the painting Ophelia by John Everett Millais, we attempted to capture some texture in the water while she floated in it. And as all inspiration does, it flowed on into other shots and ideas and created something original in its own right. And as you can see, some shots needed some slight altering to get the one we wanted, and that’s all part of the process. So here’s an idea for your next photoshoot: pick a favorite painting of yours to inspire poses, movement, feeling, and start shooting!
