TenkafuMA! : The Demon Realm

The Demon Realm, a land forsaken by the gods.

On the barren land, a black wind whips up the dirt, blowing to pieces the withered trees long disparaged by the intense sun. Violet red smoke passes through tall, stone columns, the air muddled and lethal. Occasionally, giant thunder strikes through the clouds, attacking the ground. This vicious environment is completely inhabitable for humans, but is the perfect place... for their enemy.

The Demons.

In the early doctrines of Excelsis Deo, it was believed that demons  survived solely off their endless desire and had no serious need for food or other externalities. However, recent research in the Phasi Empire has revealed that, although they have extremely unique physiques, their survival mechanisms are the same as other organisms and require food to survive. From this perspective, perhaps the demons are simply creatures that are able to exist in the vicious habit of the demon realm.

Compared to the humans and demihumans, the demons do not have a specific form. With the development of their bloodline, they began to spawn beings with a wide variety of appearances. Some demons took on a form that resembled that of a human body, while others possess characteristics more demon-like in nature. Those that reside in the human realm are the leftover evildoers from the demon realms earliest attempts at invading the human realm. The individual whose bloodline is the most powerful, the one's the demons call king, are those who the manuscripts call... the Archdemons.

The Demon Realm is divided among four Archdemons.

The eastern realm is controlled by Baal, whose land connects directly to the human realm, leaving Ba'al in constant strife with the human's expeditionary troops.  Massive clouds of violet red smoke float above the wilderness, dying the sunlight red and making the air an endless eerie violet. Although the environment is unforgiving, under the rule of Ba'al, this part of the realm is home to one of the best bazaars, where merchants from all over can be seen, including humans...

The southern part of the demon realm falls under the rule of Satan. The fact that the air is not as dirty as that seen in Ba'al's territory only makes the infertility of the land that much more visible. Small mountains enclose the north, the land cracking like a divination shell. Black clouds fill the sky as gigantic thunder pummels the ground from time to time. The land is massive, but as barren as can be. Drought tolerant plants can do nothing more than strain their way through the cracks; you could say that this place is the best expression of the demon realm's craggy, arduous environment.

The land of Iblis is set apart by its vast natural resources; the mountains and valleys seen in the west are covered in lush green moss, fresh grass, sprawling vines, giant trees, and flowers, a sight rarely seen in this realm. These plants existence are proof of the overflowing natural resources. Needless to say, this place is the most suitable for habitation, and the one who rules here is a force to be reckoned with.

Lastly, in the northwestern corner is the only male ruler, Caesar, lord of the northern lands. An area with no distinguishing geographical characteristics, Caesar is not in the least concerned about ruling and his subjects have attempted to overthrow him countless times. Nevertheless, his undeniable power has allowed him to maintain control over this part of the realm.

The weak demons attach themselves to their ruler, offering their power, blood, bodies, and even their life. In return, the king ensures their survival with their unsurpassed power. Given the lack of resources in the demon realm, demons seeking a better life often send armies to the human realm, the effects of which still continue to this day.

But this time, the one who sits on the demonic throne is a real man, a man who has turned his carnal desires into motivation... to conquer the world!
